The cheapest patch-up is

We get called out to a lot of roofs that were “done cheap” a year or two ago. A bucket of mastic over a cracked valley, a few tiles slapped back without re-bedding the ridge, a flat roof patched instead of stripped. It holds through a dry spell — then the first proper storm finds the same weak spot, and the water's now been getting into the timbers the whole time.
By the time it shows on your ceiling, the cheap fix has often cost you more than doing it right would have: the original repair, the damp plaster, sometimes rotten battens or a soaked bedroom. That's the false economy of the lowest quote — you don't save money, you just pay for the roof twice.

These guys installed a new bespoke roof onto our conservatory. We were kept up to date with timings and the advised schedule. A professional job all round from time of quote to lighting being installed. Jamie and Ryan who carried out the majority of the project were extremely skilled and left the work area clean and tidy.
